Courtney Hogue, 30, doesn't shy away from a challenge. She started three years ago at Bella Innovative Modern Cabinetry (Bella IMC) as the Marketing director, with zero experience in the cabinet industry. "I was skeptical about using social media, but she persisted and was right. It worked wonders for our company," says her nominator.
Hogue eventually took over all office management and, in January, was promoted to CEO of the Huntertown, Indiana-based cabinetry producer, where she is also the director of Sales and Marketing. "She has shown the tenacity to lead a growing company into the future. We would not be where we are today without her," her nominator says.
He adds, "Our sales have risen 30 percent-plus year over year since she started."
What motivates Hogue, he says, is the challenge – she never says no to a challenge and fully takes on any task. "It’s a natural born intensity that not everyone has. Some people have to will themselves to be motivated, and some are just born with it. She was born with an overabundance of motivation.”
